idaho

My dad grew up in a little town in Idaho called Oakley.
Graden's mom grew up in a little town in Idaho called View.
Graden's dad uses to visit family in a little town in Idaho called Albion.
Oakley, View and Albion are about 20 miles a part.
My family still owns the house my dad grew up in, in Oakley.
My dad goes up there about once a month to take care of the house and also to just get away.
When Graden and I were dating we went up there and saw where his mom use to live, we also met some of his relatives. Brad had not been up there for a couple years.
Last weekend my dad, Graden's dad, Graden and I went up there.
We had a lot of fun.
We saw a lot of things.
We went to the house that Graden's mom grew up in, we went to the town that Brad use to visit when he was a kid, we went to City of Rocks, we went to the Oakley Dam, we went up to the ski resort, we went to the look out at the top of the mountain, and we went to a rodeo.
Here we are at City of Rocks. This rock is called the Arch.
This is Oakley, this is what you see at the top of the dam.

Here we are at the rodeo. I was cold and I didn't bring a coat so I had to wear one of the old ones that was at the house.

This was my favorite part of the trip. My dad's cousin in a potato farmer in Oakley. On our way out we met up with him at one of his fields and we dug ourselves some potatoes.

In Albion we saw these birds just hanging out. We stopped to look at them and they all came to the car. We had some bread so we fed them. That big bird stuck his head in the car and it bit my dad. It was really fun.
