finally

We are together.
After 56 days of being apart we are finally together as our little family.

I was just reading a blog about a couples experience with having their baby in the NICU. The mother talked about their first real night together, father, mother and baby.

As I read that I realized that we did not have a first real night together until July 14th more than two months after our babe was born. Rome stayed in the NICU for 2 weeks and Graden had to be back to work (in seattle) a week after Rome's birth so he was not there when Rome was able to come home.

It's nice to finally be together.
